Our History
HaesCooper was originally established by our father Peter Strange in 1976. He built HaesCooper over the last 40 years based upon a commitment to forming strong, long lasting business relationships. We both followed in his footsteps and became qualified Chartered Accountants (at PwC and Deloitte) and after gaining some vital experience in both practice and industry, we joined HaesCooper, Emma in 2006 and Mellissa in 2013. We have worked together to take HaesCooper forward as a family run firm of accountants, over the last 7 years until sadly Mellissa left the Practice in August 2020 to start a new life in France with her family. Emma and the team continue to work with clients with expertise in providing a complete portfolio of services such as accountancy, taxation, payroll, business planning and cash flow management, and are completely committed to clients whether they receive all or just a selection of our specialist services.
Our Approach
When you think of an accountant you may have the typical picture of a person who takes away your invoices, bills and receipts once a year and within a few weeks will return with a set of accounts and a tax return that will mean very little to you.
At HaesCooper we focus on supporting you and your business throughout the whole year and not just when an accounts or tax deadline is looming. We believe in investing time getting to know you, and building close working relationships with our clients. We feel by gaining a deep understanding of you and your business we can really add value and help you to improve profits and support growth. Our expertise in accountancy and up to date tax advice will also allow you to minimise tax and maximise profits. Our approach will help you plan ahead for tax, and will aid you with the extraction of profits from your company in the most tax efficient way, which is vital for the long term success of any business. All this and we strive to do it in a way that will make your accounts and tax affairs easy to understand, by explaining things in simple terms.
